Bransen Vilardo, GMAT, GRE & EA tutor

Bransen is the only American we’ve ever met who speaks fluent Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic, in addition to scoring a 770 on the GMAT. As an undergraduate, Bransen graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration in just a year and half, with much of that time spent taking classes in Jerusalem.

Prior to joining GMAT Ninja, Bransen honed his math (read: excel) skills at a boutique investment bank where he helped connect emerging Israeli startups with US markets and sources of capital. Because banking can sometimes be repetitive and boring, Bransen spent his spare time running a Biblical Hebrew tutoring business, which deepened his passion for teaching. That experience, along with his knowledge of four languages, provides Bransen with a unique gift for guiding students through the GMAT verbal section.

When he isn’t helping students decipher GMAT RC passages, Bransen attempts to decipher an equally cryptic — but much older — text in his role as a Teaching Pastor at a Pentecostal church. He has found these pastoring skills to be surprisingly relevant as he helps students navigate the more frustrating side(s) of the GRE and GMAT, which often take a spiritual toll on test-takers.

In his spare time, Bransen is proud to be the only person in Florida who refuses to go to the beach, but he loves to travel, ski, learn languages, eat hummus, make hummus, and talk about hummus. If you begin speaking with him in Hebrew, Arabic, or Greek, he might smile and pretend that he speaks no English at all.

“Bransen has started and grown churches in Cincinnati, Ohio; Herzliya, Israel; and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Collectively, these have grown from under 50 to over 1,000 in attendance.”

Our favorite review of Bransen’s tutoring:

Bransen was instrumental in me achieving this score. His voice was always in my head as I prepped for my last attempt. It was money well spent to get advice and coaching that I couldn’t get from a self-study prep course. Bransen even gave me some tips via email after our tutoring sessions had ended. I’d recommend GMAT Ninja to anyone who feels stuck or discouraged with their GMAT scores.
